We are happy to inform our students that 2018 admission and scholarship application form is out. The mission of The MasterCard Foundation is to advance education and financial inclusion to catalyze prosperity in developing countries.
The Scholars Program is a 10-year, US $500 million initiative that will enable 15,000 academically talented students from economically disadvantaged communities (mostly in sub-Saharan Africa) to attend secondary school and/or university. Iowa State University (ISU) is a public flagship land-grant and space-grant research university located in Ames, Iowa, United States. ISU was Founded in 1858 and became the nation’s first land-grant institution under the Morrill Act of 1862, serving as a model for future land-grant universities.
Eligibility for the Scholarship:
- Being a citizen of a Sub-Saharan African country
- Excelling academically
- Come from an economically disadvantaged background
- Having demonstrated the will to give back to your community, country, or continent
- Having expressed the desire and intention to return to your home country after completing your studies.
This scholarship is for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, website all applications must be submitted online in the university on or before February 1, 2018.
